The New DD SuperLight Hammock: weighing just 270g (inc all suspension, bag etc.) with an incredibly small pack size of just 14cm x 9cm x 7cm - this Hammock can literally be taken everywhere!
Please note we recommend a maximum user weight of 100kg with this hammock as it is single layer (our other hammocks have max recommended weight of 125kg).
The lightest and most compact hammock in the world and part of our new SuperLight Range. The DD SuperLight Range also includes a Hammock Mosquito Net and Tarp - all three weigh under a kilo and offer a full, portable and very comfy camping system all of which packs up into almost no space at all!
The same size as our other hammocks and just as comfy this hammock is made from the lightest materials we could possibly source. This is the lightest, most compact hammock available and easily packs into a jacket pocket!
Ultalight, high strength ripstop nylon is used for the hammock itself and the suspension is our superlight and adjustable Whoopie Suspension System featuring Whoopie Slings, Tree Huggers and Soft Shackle Karabiners (everything you need to use it straight away).
This hammock along with the rest of the DD Superlight Range offer new options for lightweight camping to those who really need to save on weight and pack space. Ideal for cyclists, hikers, runners, motorcyclists and those involved in all other outdoor pursuits where pack weight/ size matters. Or simply someone looking for a comfy, small pack size holiday hammock!
To confirm the weight is 270g total including the following:
- Hammock (same size as our other hammocks 2.7m x 1.4m).
- Whoopie Slings adjustable suspension (full size, 2m / 6ft long).
- 2 x Tree Hugger straps (full size / 2m long).
- 2 x Soft Shackle Karabiners made from Amsteel, very strong.
- Hammock Stuff Sack/ bag.
It is possible to use metal karabiners in the place of Soft Shackle Karabiners if you wish - we sell Superlight Karabiners at 8g each which are great for hammocks and also climbing grade karabiners which are 35g each.
*Our Superlight Range is more expensive than our other products due to the higher cost of the ultralight materials used.
Please note we recommend stuffing the hammock rather than folding it when packing into stuff sack to help prevent the same fold lines wearing out the material over time as it is thinner material than our other hammocks. As with our other hammocks we also recommend storing it dry and airing it out to dry before packing it away.
